Get ready for a mouthwatering event that will delight your taste buds and warm your hearts! It’s time for our beloved annual Pie Contest, and we invite each and every one of you to participate in this scrumptious tradition.
Whether you’re a seasoned baker or just love savoring delicious pies, this event is for you. We encourage all our talented bakers to showcase their skills and creativity by bringing their best pies to the contest. From classic apple and pumpkin to exotic flavors and gluten-free options, we welcome all types of pies to the competition.
Here’s how it works:
- Bake Your Best Pie: Whip up your most delectable pie creation at home. Be it sweet or savory, traditional or experimental, bring your A-game to the kitchen!
- Registration: When you arrive at the event, register your pie at the designated table. Please provide the name of your pie and any special information (e.g., dietary restrictions).
- Pie Tasting and Judging: Once all the pies are registered, the real fun begins! Congregants will have the opportunity to taste and judge each pie based on taste, presentation, and creativity. Cast your vote for the People’s Choice award.
- Awards Ceremony: After the tasting and voting, we will announce the winners in various categories, including Best Overall Pie, Most Creative Pie, and People’s Choice. Prizes and bragging rights will be up for grabs!
- Fellowship: Share your love for pies with fellow church members. This event is not just about competition but also about building community and enjoying each other’s company.
