Welcome to Highpoint Baptist Church! We’re thrilled you’re considering visiting us. Whether you’re new to the area, exploring faith for the first time, or looking for a church home, we want you to feel welcomed and at ease. Highpoint is a Bible-believing Baptist church where the Bible is preached, Christ is exalted, and truth is never compromised. Our 2025 theme is “Go Forward,” inspiring us to grow in faith and community. We’re a place to call home, with ministries for groups, kids, and everyone in between.

What to Expect
When you visit Highpoint, expect a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Our services are centered on worship, prayer, and practical teaching from God’s Word. Dress comfortably—there’s no dress code; come as you are. Services typically last about 1-1.5 hours, with uplifting music, Bible-based preaching, and opportunities for fellowship. If you have children, we have age-appropriate classes and activities to help them learn about Jesus in a fun way. For our Deaf and hard-of-hearing friends, ASL interpretation is available during the 11 a.m. Sunday service.
Upon arrival, our greeters will welcome you and answer any questions. We have plenty of parking available at our location. After service, stick around for coffee and conversation—we’d love to get to know you!

Our Beliefs
At Highpoint, we hold to the inspired, infallible Word of God as our authority, using the King James Version in services. We believe in one God eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is fully God and man, born of a virgin, who died for our sins and rose again. Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ alone—not by works—and once saved, believers are eternally secure.
We affirm the autonomy of the local church, practice believer’s baptism by immersion, and observe the Lord’s Supper as memorials. We emphasize personal holiness, separation from worldly error, and sharing the Gospel with all. For a full statement, visit our Beliefs page.

WHAT DO I WEAR?
If you attend one of our church services, we will be happy to have you, no matter how you are dressed. Most people dress in what they would consider to be “traditional church attire,” but this is simply out of respect for the occasion and not because of any strict dress code. Our main goal is that you feel welcome and comfortable during your visit.
DO I HAVE TO PUT MONEY IN THE OFFERING?
Visitors are welcome to give an offering at Highpoint Baptist Church, but they are not expected to do so. The offering is for members only, but visitors can place their offering in the plate as it is passed around if they would like. The church appreciates any contributions from visitors, but they do not want anyone to feel obligated to give if they cannot afford to do so.
WHAT DENOMINATION?
Here at Highpoint, we are an independent Baptist church. We are not affiliated with any particular Baptist denomination or ruling body. This means that we have the freedom to support our own missionaries, select our own leaders, and support institutions that believe as we believe. In short, our church answers to the headship of Jesus Christ rather than a denominational body.

WHAT BIBLE SHOULD I BRING?
All preaching and Scripture reading are done from the King James Bible. If you don’t have a Bible and would like to follow along, please feel free to ask one of our ushers or greeters. They would be happy to give you one. The Scripture readings are also displayed on the screen up front..
WHAT IF I DON’T FIT IN
Visitors are always welcome! We try our best to be friendly to everyone who walks through our doors. Our church services are not social events, but a time to worship God. You’re here to experience His presence, be encouraged, and perhaps make some connections with the church. We hope you enjoy your time with us!
DO YOU HAVE CLASS FOR CHILDREN/YOUTH?
Yes, during our Sunday morning 11am service, children are dismissed to a class with qualified teachers who have passed background checks. However, if you prefer, you can keep your child/children with you in the service. Our youth group for teenagers meets on Thursday evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm.

Can I watch past sermons online?
Absolutely! We believe in spreading the message of Jesus Christ beyond the church walls. Visit our website’s “Live-stream” section to access a library of past sermons and inspiring messages.
Are all the services the same?
Not at all. Each one of our services offerings something different. Some come to all.
Sunday School at 10am: is a Bible lesson delivered by a member at Highpoint. Different topics from the Bible is taught. About 30 minutes long and bagels and coffee available afterwords. Children and adults groups.
Sunday Worship at 11am: The main worship service. An energetic service that honors and uplifts Christ rather than man. Service includes congragtional singing, Specail music, and preaching from Gods Word.
Thursday Prayer and Bible Study at 6:30pm: This service includes a Bible study by our pastor followed by prayer time.
