Ben Potter

Ben Potter

It was great having Church Planters Ben Potter and his wife with us on Thursday night. What a great message and great evening. Thank you all that had a part wither there or watching the live stream. Please continue to pray for the potters as they are seeking support to go to Burlington Vermont to plant a church.

Easter Drive in Service

Easter Drive in Service

God gave us a beautiful day for our Easter Drive in service. It was great seeing our members come out in support of this great day. Even though we live in uncertain times, God has been blessing Highpoint and Easter Sunday was no different. The outdoor meeting had a feeling like back in the old days of tent revivals. God was uplifted and glorified through the preaching and music of God’s word. We are planning a Old Fashioned Revival Tent meeting this summer, stay connected for details coming soon.

Jonathan Lyons

Jonathan Lyons

Thursday Service was a first for us as we went live stream only due to the Covid-19 virus. Brother Lyons was scheduled to preach for us and preach he did. His sons also sang for us and blessed us with music. Thank you all who tuned into our live stream and watched and prayed from your homes. I miss my church family.

Pastor Barnett

As a pastor there are certain services that really encourage you, and last night was one of them. The testimony of Pastor Robert Barnett is really encouraging. From being saved in Wolcott, Ct from the bus ministry to Preacher in Tennessee, his life should encourage any Christian. Many tuned in to the live stream to watch and what a great evening we had.

You can watch the video below. We are working in getting a better audio quality to our live stream.

The Ladies of Highpoint met at Cheryl’s house for a time of breakfast, fellowship, crafts, and fun.  We appreciate the ladies of Highpoint and thank them for their  faithfulness to the Lord. Thank you all that came out this morning, we are looking forward to the next meeting.

4th Anniversary Service

It just seems that every year the Anniversary service just keeps getting better and better. The service we well attended with members and guests. We are just praising the Lord for all that He has done, as we have seen so much spiritual growth in our members. We are looking forward to 2020, as we continue to talk about Jesus.

2019 Year in Review

Now that 2019 is officially over, we can look forward to 2020. While one year ends, new opportunities now awaits. I would sum up 2019 as a year of spiritual growth. This year we’ve seen so many folks grow in the things of the Lord. We’ve seen some called into the ministry, we’ve seen some give up addictions, some loving God’s Word more than ever. It truly has been a year of growth. Let’s make 2020 even better.

Here is video recap of some of the events that took place in 2019.

Christmas Program 2019

This years Christmas program was titled “Keep God’s Love in Christmas”.  We saw through the tragedy of a Sunday School teacher, how the during rehearsal for the Church Christmas pageant hearts were changed.

This years Christmas Program was well attended and as always, such a sweet spirit if unity. The gospel message was preached.

This years Christmas as Highpoint was the best one yet. I can’t wait to see what God does in 2020.

Christmas Fellowship

This years Christmas Fellowship was the best yet. The church surprised Pastor Matt and Trish by flying in Beth and Tim from California for the weekend. The love that the members of Highpoint has for each other is truly special. I have never been part of a church with this much unity, excitement, and love for God. The gift exchange for this years Christmas fellowship was mugs. We had small mugs, we had BIG mugs, we had mugs with $100 visa cards attached, but this year we did it a little different. Instead of picking a gift for yourself, you picked it for someone else in the room. It was a joy to watch everyone look for the perfect gift for someone else.  God bless the singing, the preaching,  and the food that Pat’s IGA catered. Even our deaf ministry had a blast. We had a special prize that was given to give away to one of our teens, Jada Cordero won the game of Rock, paper and scissors and walked away with a brand new iPad. Can’t wait until next year.
