Christmas Fellowship

This years Christmas Fellowship was the best yet. The church surprised Pastor Matt and Trish by flying in Beth and Tim from California for the weekend. The love that the members of Highpoint has for each other is truly special. I have never been part of a church with this much unity, excitement, and love for God. The gift exchange for this years Christmas fellowship was mugs. We had small mugs, we had BIG mugs, we had mugs with $100 visa cards attached, but this year we did it a little different. Instead of picking a gift for yourself, you picked it for someone else in the room. It was a joy to watch everyone look for the perfect gift for someone else.  God bless the singing, the preaching,  and the food that Pat’s IGA catered. Even our deaf ministry had a blast. We had a special prize that was given to give away to one of our teens, Jada Cordero won the game of Rock, paper and scissors and walked away with a brand new iPad. Can’t wait until next year.

Friend & Family Day

We are still praising the Lord for a full house on Family an Friend Day. It was a joy to see so many visitors and our regulars worship Jesus Christ together.  The spirit was sweet and many decisions were made for the Lord, as the altar was full. Many thanks to Highpoint members for inviting out visitors and praying for this special day. Congratulations to Tori and Jada for winning our annual Chili contest, and praising God that everyone stayed safe in the axe throwing. God is too good to us.

Thanksgiving Fellowship

What a great service this year at our annual dessert fellowship. It was a blessing having two college kids from New England Baptist College preach for us. The evening could be summed up as great preaching, great spirit, and great fellowship. Thank you Highpoint for showing great hospitality.

Jordan & Alicia Kurecki

What a joy it was to have missionary Jordan Kurecki and his wife with us. Pray as he works to translates the Bible in the Nubi’s native toungue. All that was in attendance was blessed. To hear Brother Jordans testimony and to see how God helped him get past things in his life was truly a blessing

Please pray for them.

Easter 2019

What a great resurrection Sunday we had. Thank you to the Drama and music team that put in time and effort for this program. After the service the children had an Egg hunt. What a great day to be in the house of the Lord.

Here is Leo stealing the show.

Winter Banquet 2019

Thank you Highpoint for making an effort to come out to our winter banquet at La Fortuna’s Restaurant in Wolcott. What a great time of food, fellowship, and fun. The teens dominated in the games this year, but a great time was had by all. We filled up the private room and next year may need a bigger room. I am amazed by all our folks at Highpoint and am so grateful for your love for the Lord Jesus Christ. God is doing Big things in a little town. #GetOnBoard.

Anniversary Service

Wow. Full Parking lot, great crowd, music team was spectacular, preaching was red hot, and the altars were full. Best anniversary service yet. Who says you can’t have meetings on New Year’s day? When people know God is going to show up, they will come.

Christmas Candlelight

This years candlelight service was the best yet. Things just keep getting better and better at Highpoint. The folks that God has brought here have been truly amazing. This years Christmas party was epic as well. It’s always great to meet new people and then see them return. God is ready to do something BIG at Highpoint. Hang on.

Vandle’s Baptism

What a great day Sunday was. First time visitors, returning visitors, and Vandle’s Baptism. What a joy it was to baptize her. Water was a little cold,  but she braved it out. I love seeing folks desire to live for the Lord.

Thanksgiving at Highpoint

What a great Thanksgiving service we had last Sunday, thank you to all the ladies that helped with everything. Everything was delicious and what a sweet time of fellowship we had.  One thing that defines Highpoint is family. I’ve never been part of a church before where there was this much love one towards another. It thrills my heart to see folks praying with each other, and to see people praying together at the altar. For the last three weeks we have seen new members joining each week and we have multiple baptisms coming up. This is not me, but all God. Thank you, we have so much to be thankful for. – Pastor Matt
